Why does my outdoor unit vibrate or make noise?

Almost always an installation issue, not a defect — a loose mounting bracket, uneven ground, or the unit not sitting flat on its base lets normal compressor vibration transfer into a rattle or hum you can hear. A properly mounted, level outdoor unit shouldn't vibrate noticeably.
📐 Calculated estimate Based on real BEE-certified data — see the exact numbers below.

This is genuinely one of the more common installation problems, precisely because it's easy to overlook during setup — the unit runs fine on day one, but a slightly uneven base or a bracket that wasn't fully tightened lets vibration build into an audible noise over weeks or months of operation. Getting the mounting checked is usually a straightforward fix, not a sign the unit itself is faulty.
