Installation

Why do drain slope, pipe insulation, and electrical wiring matter?

The drain line needs a consistent downward slope for condensate to actually flow out — a flat or reverse-sloped drain backs up and leaks, which is one of the most common "AC leaking water" causes traced back to installation. Pipe insulation prevents condensation from forming on the pipe itself, and correctly rated electrical wiring prevents both safety hazards and performance issues from voltage drop.
📐 Calculated estimate Based on real BEE-certified data — see the exact numbers below.

These three get lumped together because they're all "invisible once the unit is mounted" details that only reveal themselves as problems later — a leak weeks after installation, condensation dripping from an uninsulated pipe, or a unit that underperforms because of inadequate wiring all trace back to shortcuts taken during a stage of installation the owner never actually sees.
